호구장적에 따라 관에서 개인의 호적 사항을 증명해 준 문서로, 호적 자료에는 호구단자, 준호구, 호적대장이 있다. 이 중 준호구는 호주의 신청에 따라 관에서 발급되었는데 소송 시나 노비 소유의 확인, 또는 신분의 증명 및 가문 과시의 자료로 이용되었다.
